If your workflow depends on Bitsgap's Grid capabilities or other features outside LabNarrative's current scope, Bitsgap may remain the better fit. If you mainly need supported Spot DCA automation, Paper validation and a pricing option that does not charge an upfront Pro or Max subscription fee, LabNarrative is worth testing alongside your existing setup.

When Bitsgap may be the better fit
Keep Bitsgap if the workflows you rely on are outside LabNarrative's supported scope. The clearest example today is Grid-style automation: LabNarrative should not be treated as a one-to-one replacement for a Bitsgap Grid workflow.
The workflow has to map. If it does not, the incumbent remains the better tool for that job.
When LabNarrative may fit better
LabNarrative is most relevant when you want to:
- run supported crypto Spot DCA automation with explicit entry, averaging and exit rules;
- test the automation in Paper before exposing real funds;
- keep signals, positions, trade history and analytics together;
- use TradingView-driven Spot execution where supported;
- choose a lower fixed-price plan when that suits you;
- or choose Pro/Max Pay when you profit instead of paying an upfront subscription fee.
The pricing difference
LabNarrative's main distinction is the optional performance-linked model. Pro and Max users can choose Pay when you profit: no upfront subscription fee, and no LabNarrative performance fee for a period without positive net realized PnL. When positive net realized PnL exists, the amount owed follows it up to $39 on Pro or $69 on Max.
Fixed monthly and annual plans are still available. The point is choice: predictable subscription pricing when you want it, or Make profit first. Pay us second. when that model fits better.
Free Paper-first migration help
You do not need to cancel Bitsgap to find out whether LabNarrative fits. Send one current DCA configuration or the relevant screenshots. We will help separate what maps cleanly from what does not and recreate the supported logic in Paper.
- leave the existing Bitsgap bot untouched;
- capture the pair universe, order sizes, DCA ladder and exit rules;
- recreate only the supported behavior in LabNarrative Paper;
- compare entries, averaging, exits and capital use;
- move Live only if the narrower workflow is genuinely sufficient.
Email your first setup to hello@labnarrative.com. We will help recreate the supported workflow in Paper with you.
What does not map one-to-one
LabNarrative is intentionally focused rather than a Bitsgap clone. Grid behavior and any other unsupported platform-specific workflows should be treated as explicit migration boundaries. Compare the automation you actually run, not the total number of features in each catalog.
